The Unified Patent Court opened for business on June 1, 2023, and has since redefined the very framework of global patent litigation. There are currently more than 330 cases pending before the UPC. Since last June, the UPC's local and central divisions as well as the Court of Appeal have handed down numerous orders and judgments.
One year later, we would like to reflect with you on this historic milestone and explore the first decisions of the UPC's various divisions, and look at the harmonization tendencies of the UPC Court of Appeal.
Learn more about the advantages the UPC brings for your company's litigation strategies and what you need to consider to minimize risk.
Don’t miss this exclusive opportunity to discuss with journalists from JUVE PATENT, industry representatives, and lawyers/patent attorneys from the IP boutique BARDEHLE PAGENBERG what in-house experts need to know after the first 12 months of the new European patent court and for future litigation in Europe.
We welcome a wide range of industries, be it from the claimant or defendant side. It is an opportunity to evaluate new methodologies, to learn through the experiences of your peer group, and discuss how the UPC already changes the game in European and global patent litigation.
