Dr. Jakob Sigg’s main areas of practice include fixed network and mobile communications, particularly access networks, power electronics and optical communications engineering. As a member of our team of experts, Jakob Sigg supports the firm’s attorneys in filing and prosecuting patents relating to his field of practice.

Jakob Sigg has acquired extensive knowledge of the development of mobile communication devices and physics-based models for power electronic devices as an engineer and product manager with Siemens. He has also acquired further technical knowledge of the simulation of power electronic circuits in the field of opto-electronic transmitters and receiver modules.

As a physicist I have worked in various technical fields in industry for almost 20 years before turning to IP. I focus on drafting and prosecuting patent applications which efficiently protect the technical innovations of our clients.
