Yanan Huang

Yanan Huang is a qualified Chinese Patent Attorney and also holds the Chinese Legal Professional Qualification. She has an international academic background, including a Master of IP Law and Management from CEIPI and an M.Sc. in Natural Sciences with a focus on semiconductor technology and photovoltaics in Germany. She specializes in patent matters in the fields of semiconductor technology, communication technology, electronics, and computer software, and has extensive experience in handling patent prosecution, reexamination, and related matters in China.

Yanan Huang has many years of experience in patent practice in China and has worked both in patent law firms and in industry. Her work covers patent drafting, prior-art searches, freedom-to-operate analyses, responses to office actions, and invalidation-related matters as well as strategic advice on patent protection. Owing to her combined experience in private practice and in-house IP management, she has a strong understanding of the legal, technical, and commercial aspects of patent work, particularly in cross-border matters involving Chinese and international clients.
