Jan Bösing advises clients in all areas of intellectual property with a focus on patent law. He regularly represents clients in complex patent infringement proceedings, in nullity proceedings before the German Federal Patent Court as well as in opposition proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office. In addition to representing clients in contentious matters, Jan Bösing also provides strategic advice regarding the enforcement of IP rights or the defence against the assertion of IP infringement. His industrial focus is on telecommunications, the automotive industry, electronics and micromechanics. He has broad experience with regard to standard-essential patents (SEPs) and their enforcement or the defence against their assertion, including all FRAND issues.
Jan Bösing also regularly advises on IP transfer and license agreements as well as on research and development projects in all technical areas. He has experience at regards IP rights in transactions and corporate restructuring.
