Barcelona is one of Spain’s most important industrial areas. Our office is located right in the heart of Barcelona, in one of the city’s most emblematic buildings, “La Casa de les Punxes”, also known as “Casa Terradas”, which, having been built in 1905 for three sisters of a well-known textile and agricultural businessman, has become an important tourist attraction on account of its astonishing design, its hidden secrets and its symbolism.

The Barcelona office particularly specializes in patent applications: national Spanish patent applications before the Spanish patent and trademark office, European patent applications before the European Patent Office (EPO) and international patent applications to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Besides handling the application procedure, we also advise our clients on strategic issues in managing IP portfolios and protecting trademarks and designs. The team is headed by a German European Patent Attorney who, as a qualified telecommunications engineer.
