Press release dated December 22, 2022

BARDEHLE PAGENBERG elevates its team by hiring two of Germany’s leading attorneys-at-law, Dr. Volkmar Henke and Dr. Tilman Müller, as equity partners in early 2023. The experts for patent litigation join from the mixed firm Eisenführ Speiser and will establish an office at the UPC location Hamburg, Germany, on behalf of BARDEHLE PAGENBERG.

“We are extraordinarily happy to have won two extremely reputable patent litigation experts for our litigation group, which is continuously growing; thus, we are represented at the significant UPC locations Munich, Duesseldorf, Hamburg, and Paris,” says Johannes Heselberger, Managing Partner of BARDEHLE PAGENBERG. He continues: “Volkmar Henke and Tilman Müller have longstanding experience in ambitious international high-profile proceedings, particularly in SEP and FRAND cases from the perspective of plaintiffs. We consider the fact that two top-class litigation experts from the first ranks of the sector both chose us and our market strategy right before the start of the UPC a distinctly lucky development for our firm.”

Volkmar Henke und Tilman Müller add: “We are really excited to become part of the family of BARDEHLE PAGENBERG which perfectly matches our values and strategic orientation. BARDEHLE PAGENBERG offers an outstanding platform for comprehensively advising our clients in the context of complex disputes. Especially the cooperation with one of Germany’s leading patent litigation groups provides us with optimal potential, both on a national and international level, particularly regarding our SEP expertise from the perspective of patent owners. We would like to extend our thanks to our former colleagues and partners with whom we have shared outstanding and successful years of establishing the patent litigation group of Eisenführ Speiser.“
