Dr.-Ing.
Dr. Nico Karius is a patent attorney with a special technical background. Thanks to his studies in media technology, hearing technology and audiology, supplemented by a doctorate in the field of digital audio signal processing, his technical expertise lies at the interface between digital signal processing, medical technology, telecommunications and computer science.
Prior to his work in intellectual property, Nico worked at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in research and teaching within the Cluster of Excellence “Hearing4all”.
Nico’s attention to detail and his ability to break down complex matters to their comprehensible core make him particularly qualified to accompany technically complex proceedings through patent offices and courts.
