Audrey Yap Su Ming

Managing Partner

Audrey Yap has served as WIPO Regional consultant to ASEAN and EPO’s external IP expert under the EU TRTA programme. Audrey has been named as one of Singapore’s leading lawyers by Who’s Who Legal and Euromoney. She is the only Singapore lawyer listed as one of the World’s Leading IP Strategists by IAM magazine for seven years consecutively (2009 – 2015). Audrey serves on the Board of Directors of the IP Office of Singapore (IPOS) and is a qualified lawyer in Singapore and Malaysia, a solicitor of England and Wales, and registered patent attorney.

Chiew Yu Sarn

Founding Partner

Yu Sarn is an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, and is also entered into the rolls as a Solicitor, England and Wales. Yu Sarn’s areas of practice include corporate and commercial law and IP, with a specific focus on the commercialization of IP. He advises companies, institutions and government agencies on IP strategic planning and IP governance and policy, and helps his clients enhance their in-house IP management capabilities. Yu Sarn was accredited as a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) SCOPE IP consultant for the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS).

May Tan Hui Teng

Partner

May is a Partner and head of the Trade Marks Practice of the Intellectual Property Department of Yusarn Audrey. May’s areas of practice include contentious and non-contentious Intellectual Property matters as well as trade marks and design registration, copyright infringement and passing off cases. She handles various intellectual property related litigation, including obtaining injunctions preventing importation of infringing materials, copyright infringement actions etc. She is alsoexperienced in the various forms of execution proceedings, i. e. Companies Winding-Up and Bankruptcy.

Loke Ping Bu

Centre Director, Europe, Economic Development Board

Mr. Loke Ping Bu was appointed as Center Director (Europe) of the Singapore Economic Development Board in 2012. He leads the investment promotion efforts carried out by EDB in Germany, Austria and South Africa. Prior to this, Mr. Loke held the position of Assistant Head, Precision Engineering in Singapore. He was responsible for EDB’s efforts to promote investment in areas such as complex machinery, laser and optics, as well as initiatives to develop Singapore’s supplier ecosystem. Concurrently, he represented EDB’s Europe Desk based in Singapore, and worked with Chambers of Commerce and other multipliers to facilitate investment interest from European companies. Mr. Loke is a Glaxo-EDB scholar who graduated from Purdue University with a MSc and BSc in Mechanical Engineering, and a Minor in German. He performed the majority of his Master’s thesis at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany.
