As a patent attorney, Patrick Daum is primarily involved in patent prosecution and litigation in the areas of wireless communication, computer- and satellite-supported navigational technologies as well as aerospace technologies. He also has extensive knowledge in the fields of electrical engineering, information engineering and in computer-implemented systems, which he has gained through his studies of communication links between satellites and ground-based stations. With the knowledge and research experience he has acquired at various academic institutions, he is able to prosecute patents in a wide range of technologies as a member of the firm’s team of patent attorneys.
My heart is that of a physicist, my mind is that of a patent attorney; my focus is on understanding technicians’ complex ideas and making sure they receive optimum protection.
