Johannes Heselberger, together with Tilman Müller-Stoy, heads the firm’s Patent Litigation Group.
His main areas of practice involve patent infringement and validity litigation, including opposition and appeal proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office as well as nullity proceedings before the German Federal Patent Court and the German Federal Court of Justice. His technical fields of expertise include medical devices, telecommunications and the automotive industry.
Johannes Heselberger has successfully conducted important patent infringement proceedings, often across national borders, representing both SMEs and major companies, with clients being world leaders in their field of technology.
With his multiple qualifications as an attorney-at-law and a European Patent Attorney, he is able to handle both the legal and technical aspects of a case.
Johannes Heselberger regularly speaks on topics in the fields of patent infringement and patent valuation.
He teaches patent law at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC).
