In his daily work, Dr. Johannes Scholz applies his expertise as patent engineer in the diverse fields of mechanical engineering, thin-film technology and electrical engineering, in particular in the fields of polymer engineering, automotive engineering and glass manufacturing and refinement. Furthermore, he has broad knowledge in the fields of medical engineering, in particular in the field of magnetic resonance tomography and in biophysics. 

His primary practice covers in addition to the prosecution of patent application proceedings and the defense and attack of patents in opposition proceedings, the preparation of expert opinions on patent infringement cases and the enforcement of intellectual property rights before German courts.
