Nikolaus Buchheim graduated with distinction from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and received his PhD degree from the Max-Planck-Institute of Quantum Optics for experimental research carried out on molecular quantum gases.
Before joining our team of patent engineers he worked as R&D project manager at Siemens Corporate Technology developing superconducting propulsion systems for electric aircraft.
Being an expert in various fields of technology such as optics, lasers, electronics, quantum devices, telecommunications, electric engines, superconductivity and machine learning Nikolaus’ practice involves patent drafting and prosecution before the German and European patent office as well as compiling infringement and validity opinions.
