Lucas Schäfer


Lucas Schäfer assists clients in drafting patent applications and in examination proceedings before the European Patent Office and the German Patent and Trademark Office. He also acts for clients in both opposition and nullity proceedings and advises on infringement issues.

Based on his mechanical engineering degree with a focus on lightweight design and polymer technology and his varied experience in the mobility sector, Lucas Schäfer contributes his expertise in materials science, fiber composites, automotive engineering, rail vehicle technology and mechanics to advising clients.  

His former work in a corporate IP department and his studies at the Questrom School of Business enable Lucas Schäfer to include the entire spectrum of interests on the part of companies and to take business aspects into account in his consulting work.
