Philippe Zerbib is one of the few legal practitioners with a combination of qualifications in engineering, business and law. His work in his previous positions involved various aspects of a business, including defining a business and intellectual property strategy, prosecuting and litigating intellectual property rights, negotiating and drafting contracts relating to such rights, setting up corporate legal entities, performing mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring.

Philippe Zerbib currently focuses on patent law issues, combining his technical and legal expertise to draft and prosecute patent applications. He is also involved in multi-jurisdictional patent litigation cases, including infringement, invalidity and opposition, and provides legal opinions on patent validity or infringement. His particular technical fields include mechanical and electrical engineering, electronics, information technology and telecommunications, computer science, consumer goods and medical devices.

Philippe Zerbib was admitted as a French attorney-at-law to the Paris and Munich bars in 2015. He graduated in law from the university Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, in business from HEC Paris and in aerospace engineering from ESTACA.

Prior to working for Bardehle Pagenberg, Philippe Zerbib worked for two leading international law firms. He also has extensive experience in the aerospace and defence industry, having worked as a business manager in the fields of strategy, industrial partnerships and technology transfers, competitive intelligence, marketing and sales. Philippe Zerbib is used to working in an international environment, having conducted business in several countries including France, Italy, Spain, UK, Germany and Indonesia.
