Pascal Böhner
Pascal Böhner’s practice focuses on trademark law, design law, unfair competition law, and copyright law.
In trademark and design law, one of his focuses is on the judicial and extrajudicial enforcement and defense of IP rights in infringement, opposition, and nullity proceedings. In addition, Pascal Böhner has extensive experience in the strategic development and management of intellectual property portfolios, from prosecution strategy and ongoing portfolio maintenance to the valuation of IP portfolios. For the protection of product designs, he combines instruments from various areas of law to develop a comprehensive protection strategy from a single source.
In competition law, Pascal Böhner advises primarily on issues of protection from imitation and advertising law, regularly including interfaces with regulatory requirements, for example in pharmaceutical law or food law.
His other areas of practice include domain law, where he counsels clients on issues of strategic domain management and represents clients in WIPO arbitration proceedings.
Since 2025, he has been active as a domain arbitrator (panelist) at WIPO.
Additionally, Pascal Böhner advises on licensing and antitrust matters as well as IT law, particularly in disputes concerning copyright-protected software and the drafting of software agreements.
Pascal Böhner brings particular industry experience in the areas of fashion, entertainment, sports and leisure equipment, food, and consumer goods.
