In this category, the JUVE editors honor firms that have developed particularly dynamically in the fields of trademark, patent and unfair competition law. Arguing major cases, counselling high-class clients on contracts and portfolio management, and personnel-related developments play a special role in this context. Juve honors both up-and-coming entities and established players that have registered an especially positive development over the last 12 months.
We are honored to be among the nominees for Juve IP Firm of the Year 2023 and grateful to our outstanding team. With the establishment of our new office in Hamburg, one of the locations of the UPC Local Divisions, and a considerable number of new hires, 2023 has already been an exciting year for BARDEHLE PAGENBERG. Of course part of our development was coined by positioning the firm as a pioneer in the context of the new European court system, the Unified Patent Court. The fact that we are nominated as IP Firm of the Year 2023 bears witness to the fundamental evolution our Patent Litigation Group has seen over the last couple of months.
"The decisions for the nominees and winner teams are based on the comprehensive research by the JUVE editors for the annual compendium on commercial law firms JUVE Handbuch Wirtschaftskanzleien. The research includes thousands of interviews with clients, partners of firms, budding attorneys as well as judges."
