Martin Hohgardt’s main areas of practice involve patent prosecution, patent infringement and validity litigation in various technical fields.

His technical fields include telecommunications, electrical engineering, special-purpose machinery manufacture, computer-implemented inventions, ciphering systems and medical devices.

Martin Hohgardt is responsible for prosecuting patent applications before the European Patent Office and the German Patent and Trademark Office on behalf of numerous German and international clients.

When representing these clients in patent infringement proceedings before the Regional Courts and in corresponding validity proceedings, Martin Hohgardt cooperates closely with the attorneys-at-law of BARDEHLE PAGENBERG .

Martin Hohgardt regularly speaks on topics in the field of patent filing and patent-filing strategy. He heads the firm's Düsseldorf office.
