Martin Bookjans is a patent engineer specializing in various fields of mechatronics (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer sciences), in particular sensor technology, manufacturing technology, medical engineering as well as glass manufacturing and glass finishing. His broad knowledge in the engineering sciences, acquired with his studies of mechatronics, enables Dr. Bookjans to assist the patent attorneys of the firm in grant proceedings of patents and utility models relating to many different technologies as well as defending these rights in legal disputes.
As a member of the firm’s team of experts he puts his extensive skills to use in the context of patent grant, nullity and infringement proceedings in the respective technologies.
Dr. Bookjans is the author of a number of national and international scientific publications in the fields of simulation-based process planning, integration of electronic components into mobile systems and manufacturing metrology.
