In contentiuos trademark matters Stefan Abel continuously represents a world-leading French cosmetics company and an internationally active U.S. company of the tools and packaging sector. Another important matter concerns a series of parallel import cases in several European countries of products for medical wound treatment.
Stefan Abel’s clients include an international French manufacturer of leather goods and accessories and a well-known French manufacturer of sportswear and outdoor furniture whom he continuously represents in cases of product piracy and design imitation.
He also advises a television chanel broadcasting Europe-wide, several film production companies and the owner of the rights to a famous comic strip series which Stefan Abel represents in the fields of title protection, trademark and unfair competition law as well as in copyright matters.

Stefan Abel serves as a panellist in domain name arbitration proceedings at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva.
He lectures at the University of Strasbourg's Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) and regularly publishes articles on the topics of his practice.
He is a member of the Editorial Panel of "World Intellectual Property Review".
