Paris: Border seizures of infringing goods or cross-border patent litigation can be instigated from our Paris office

Paris

The capital of France has a long tradition of innovation both in academia and industry. As a consequence, it is also a center of intellectual property. Our experienced attorneys at the Paris office are well-versed in French and European patent, trademark and design law; they are counseling and representing a valued regional and international client base. Two of our German attorneys are also admitted to the Paris Bar. A former head of the French Patent Office and of the OHIM in Alicante completes a top-class team of intellectual property experts.

When it comes to planning a European litigation strategy, our French IP attorneys are ready to use their local know-how to our clients' advantage. With parallel multi-national or cross-border litigation cases having become a frequent reality in Europe, what counts is efficient communication between the client and our French and German teams. Carefully co-ordinated border seizures of IP-infringing goods are but one aspect of the frequent and successful cooperation between our offices and the respective national authorities.
