The "European IP Capital" home to both the European Patent Office (EPO) and the German Patent and Trademark Office (GPTO) and the Federal Patent Court: all are within easy reach of the BARDEHLE PAGENBERG head office. The close and daily professional contact with the examiners and representatives of the EPO and GPTO translates into an important quality factor for our work. The Munich District Court also hosts three specialized chambers for IP litigation.

In 1977 (by no accident one year before the European Patent Office opened), the founders of the Bardehle firm chose "Galileiplatz 1" as its first address. Today, our head office has spread to five turn-of-the-century villas near the old observatory of the University. We are proud to have Galileo Galilei, the great renaissance astronomer, as the "name father" of the firm's main location. His historical example shows how vital it is to protect your innovative ideas against even the strongest opponents.

Directions

In Munich our firm is located in five residential buildings around Galileiplatz, where our IP lawyers, patent attorneys and many other legal & technical experts advise and counsel the firm's clients.

Our new central reception desk and modernized conference facilities being located at our offices in Possartstrasse 18, clients and visitors are invited to come there first, unless other specific arrangements have been made with their responsible partner at the firm. All our five houses are within a few steps walking distance from each other. 

Arriving by air

You can take a taxi from the airport to our office (30-45 min., fare approx.: 50 Euro) or take the S8 commuter train, direction "München", and get off at "Ostbahnhof". Take bus No. 54, direction "Münchner Freiheit" and get off the bus at "Galileiplatz" directly in front of our offices.

Arriving by rail

From the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) take a taxi to our office (15 min.) or take the U4 subway direction "Arabellapark", get off at "Prinzregentenplatz" and take the "Possartstraße" exit. From there it is a five-minute walk to our offices at Possartstr. 18, Possartstr. 22, Possartstr. 31, Possartstr. 33 and Galileiplatz 1.
