Wolfgang Bublak's legal practice centres on patent and utility model prosecution and litigation including opposition proceedings and national patent revocation actions, patent infringement litigation and licensing. His technical expertise encompasses organic and inorganic chemistry as well as biochemistry.
Wolfgang Bublak has particular experience with polymer chemistry, with petrochemicals as well as with dyes, pigments and paints; industrial applications of inorganic chemistry include ceramics and insulation materials, chemical engineering, photographic materials and processing and the printing technology. Pharmaceutical patents take up an important place in his practice as a patent attorney.
Wolfgang Bublak has repeatedly and successfully represented major European and international corporations in patent opposition and invalidation proceedings before the European Patent Office and the Federal Patent Court. In close cooperation with the attorneys at law of the firm, Wolfgang Bublak is representing major clients as lead patent attorney in complex patent infringement litigation in Germany, often in cases that involve multinational litigation in other European countries. Recent cases of particular significance concerned patents for bakery additives, representation for a leading producer of enzymes and for a world leading manufacturer of detergents.
