Niels Malkomes’ primary practice focuses on patent prosecution before the European Patent Office and the German Patent and Trademark Office as well as proceedings before the Federal Patent Court. He also participates in patent infringement proceedings. A main technical focus is the field of electrical and optical functional coatings, thin film deposition technology and nanotechnology where he has gained several years of professional experience. Due to his wide educational technical background, Niels Malkomes also works in a variety of other technical fields, in particular in the field of mechanical and electrical engineering as well as telecommunication.
Dr. Niels Malkomes is the author and co-author of several inter-national scientific publications. He also made several inventions that led to patent applications and patents.
