

Jörg Kieslinger joined BARDEHLE PAGENBERG in January 2004 and prosecutes patents in the field of mechanical engineering. He has experience in the industry as a mechanical engineer concerning various technologies, in particular from the automotive field. Based on his long term professional activity in the German and the European Patent Office he supports the BARDEHLE PAGENBERG team with his broad range of knowledge in the patent field.
Jörg Kieslinger studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich. In 1964 he joined the Krauss-Maffei AG, where he worked as a design engineer in the fields of gearing mechanism, transmission systems, injection moulding technique and diesel electric locomotives. In 1968 he started in the German Patent and Trademark Office as a Patent Examiner in fields similar to those of his previous practice. In 1981 he finally joined the European Patent Office in The Hague and in 1983 in Munich. He conducted many oral proceedings as chairman of examining divisions as well as of opposition divisions. For five years he worked as a quality auditor in the Quality and Harmonisation Department of the EPO. He retired as Directorate Adviser in 2003.
