Among other clients, Stefan Abel is representing a multinational producer of French fashion and accessories in a series of counterfeit and piracy cases and a US manufacturer of medical devices in a series of parallel import cases in a number of European countries. In addition he counsels a popular television channel and several film production companies in the fields of trademark, unfair competition law as well as in copyright matters.
Stefan Abel serves as a panelist in domain name arbitration proceedings at the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO). He is officially appointed to lecture at the University of Strasbourg's Centre for International Industrial Property Studies (CEIPI) and regularly publishes articles on his fields of practice (see publications).
