Counseling and litigation in all matters of Intellectual Property, in particular trademark and design infringements, patent infringement and validity cases. He is also active in unfair competition and copyright matters.
Fabrizio Miazzetto has successfully handled several trademark and copyright infringement cases before the Spanish Courts and, in particular, before the CTM Court of Alicante, the only specialized Court in Spain in Community Trademark and Design infringements. He is also handling important patent litigation cases before the Spanish Courts and in collaboration with the Bardehle team of attorneys-at-law and patent attorneys. He is also active in IP Mediation proceedings as a party representative.
Since joining the firm in 2004, Fabrizio Miazzetto represents the firm's clients before the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office and the Spanish courts. In addition, he is handling community trademark and design cases at the OHIM in Alicante. His double qualification as a Spanish lawyer and patent and trademark attorney makes him feasible on both sides of the IP profession (prosecution and litigation).
Fabrizio Miazzetto regularly publishes in IP-specialized international journals and in the Spanish scholar’s reviews (see publications). He has lectured at IP conferences and academic courses in Spain and South America and he is presently appointed as an ordinary lecturer in the Master of IP of the University of Alicante (Spain).
